Before re-installing the shower screen, let the adhesives,
grouts and mortar to cure for 4 days.
- Use a good quality wall tile adhesive to re-tile the wall edges.
- Recommended for the hob tiles is a cementitious based tile adhesive.
- A flexible pre-mixed and water resistant tile grout is used.
- All floor tiles are wet bedded on a mortar bed which consists of a 4:1 Sand and
Cement mix.
- The grout used on the floor tiles is mixed with off white cement and sand.
- Use a grout rake to remove grout from the vertical internal corner of the shower area.
- Use a caulking gun to apply a bead of flexible anti-mould silicone down this internal corner.
